Let Me Explain What Illustration Center is!
I think some of you might be wondering what this site is all about, so let me explain a bit about it.
All the illustrations featured on this site are original works created by the site administrator, R-DESIGN. All copyrights are owned by R-DESIGN.
Why is it Free?
All illustrations on Illustration Center are available for free commercial use.
Credit attribution is optional. For detailed terms of use, please see here.
You might wonder why we provide them for free, but all illustrations on this site are sold as high-resolution & EPS data on paid stock photo sites.
What you can download here are only low-resolution illustration images with limited usage.
We sell a large number of illustrations on stock photo sites, and while some sell well, many get buried among the vast collection. With so many illustrations on similar themes, there are inevitably many illustrations that don’t sell or get noticed.
I thought this was a waste, so I decided to provide low-resolution illustrations for free, hoping that illustrations that never saw the light of day could be used by many people.
If people like them for free, they might purchase high-resolution or EPS data from paid stock sites when needed, and all illustrations could reach many more people.
That’s the vision behind launching Illustration Center.
Won’t this Hurt Sales on Paid Stock Sites?
Some might think that providing them for free could hurt sales on paid stock sites. Honestly, I have concerns too.
But since this is controversial and no one else is doing it, I thought I’d give it a try!
I don’t know what the results will be, but I want to create opportunities for more people to discover my illustrations!
That’s my pure motivation right now – let’s just try it!
Since I’m only providing limited low-resolution illustrations, keeping them separate from the paid versions, I’ll see how this affects things and report back to you all based on future results.
We’ll Keep Updating with more Illustrations!
After all this explanation, I’m just going to give it a try!
If it doesn’t work out, I might stop, but for now, it’s an experiment.
